About Me

Growing up in the vibrant city of Mumbai, India, I was captivated by stories of Sherlock Holmes, fostering an early passion for investigation and analysis. This fascination naturally evolved into a love for data science, where every dataset is a mystery waiting to be solved. My academic journey took me to Purdue University, where I earned an MS in Computer Information Science, immersing myself in Machine Learning, Data Visualization, and Cloud Computing – essentially, the modern tools of a digital detective.

Throughout my career, I've had the pleasure of working on various innovative projects, like designing an 'Intelligent Health Assistant' and developing an online store using Java RMI. My professional experience includes a stint as Lead Data Science Intern at Spotlist Inc., where I streamlined data pipelines and proposed data-driven strategies faster than you can say "machine learning algorithm." Before that, I was a Junior Analyst at Dhakad Events and Entertainment, where I analyzed data and utilized operational research methods in the glamorous world of entertainment.

My technical skill set is as diverse as a data scientist's dream, covering tools and languages like SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Python, R, HTML, and Java. I'm a data visualization wizard, using Tableau, ggplot2, and plotly to turn numbers into stories that even your grandmother would find fascinating. My expertise is backed by certifications in Google Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Relational Database Design, and Algorithms and Data Structures in Java – because who doesn't love a well-organized database?

Beyond my professional pursuits, I am an avid runner, swimmer, and sports enthusiast. Football has always been a significant part of my life, having played at the state level in India. These days, you can find me analyzing soccer games and creating event data, or maybe just pretending I'm a sports commentator in my living room. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, I'm on the hunt for opportunities to dazzle as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
